Morphology General Habit
Tree to 35 m with tessellated rough bark throughout.

Juvenile leaves alternate, ovate to broadly lanceolate, setose; adult lanceolate to broadly lanceolate, 10–14 cm long, 2–4 cm wide; petiole flattened, 1–2.3 cm long.

Umbels 7-flowered, usually in terminal panicles; peduncle flattened, angular, or terete, 1.7–3[3.5] cm long; pedicels [0.3]0.9–1.4 cm long.

Buds obovoid to clavate; operculum hemispherical-conical, 2–4 mm long, 6–7 mm wide, apiculate.
