Altitude range 40–60 m.
Type
C1, 18 km SW of Hobyo on road to Wisil, Gillett, Hemming & Watson 22209 (K holo., EA MOG iso.)
Morphology General Habit
Low woody shrublet 10–30 cm high, with dark grey bark

Branches spreading horizontally, semi-prostrate, with branchlets at right angles, 1–5 cm long, pubescent when young but soon becoming glabrous

Leaves clustered on much abbreviated shoots, sessile, obovate, 5–8 x 3–5 mm, apex truncate, glabrous except for a few basal hairs; glandular stipules minute

Cymes terminal, reduced to solitary cyathia on peduncles 2 mm long; bracts similar to the leaves but much smaller, 4–6 surrounding each cyathium
