Leaves spreading, (3–)4–6, linear-acuminate to oblanceolate, 20–55 × (4–)7.5–8.5 cm, flat but somewhat concave near base, coriaceous, smooth, irregularly blotched with darker and lighter transverse grey bands which become slightly faded with age, margin entire, reddish or yellowish with whitish grey membrane; petiole base almost 25 × 2–3 cm
