Type
N3, 7 km from Godub Jiraan on cutline to Jifle, Thulin & al. 10485 (UPS holo.).
Habit
Perennial herb or subshrub up to 30 cm tall
Stipules
Ochreae with 0.8–2 mm long setae at the margin
Leaves
Leaves 14–25 mm long, hastate or rarely sagittate, the lateral lobes 1–4 mm long, often curved upwards, the central part of the leaf and the lobes narrowly linear, slightly hairy
Inflorescences
Inflorescence 7–15 cm long; pedicels erect 2.5–6 mm long, exceeding the bracts by 0.7–3 mm
Flowers
Flowers white, heterostylous; perianth 2.5–3 mm long
Fruits
Fruits 5–7 mm long, pubescent, trigonous and with conspicuous wings on the angles, with 3 spreading prickles c. 1 mm long near the middle.
Distribution
N3; C1 not known elsewhere.
Ecology
Altitude range 150–180 m.
Note
Similar to O. hastatum, but with winged fruits without additional prickles near the base.
