Morphology General Habit
Slender decumbent annual herb with erect simple or branched stems up to 5 cm. high (10 cm. fide Hedberg (1975)), glabrous.

Leaves sessile, tightly clustered, obovate, 4–5 mm. long, 2–2.5 mm. broad, apex obtuse, upper surface concave, lower convex, succulent, margin entire, blue-green or red; lower leaves opposite, upper alternate.

Inflorescence a few-flowered cyme, usually barely extending beyond the leaves; pedicels 2–2.5 mm. long.
