Morphology General Habit
Glabrous pruinose perennial; stem erect or decumbent at the base, 0.4–1.5(–2.3) m. high.

Leaves petiolate; blade ovate, oblong or obovate, sometimes 3-lobed or 3-foliate, median leaves 6–20(–25) cm. long, 2.5–10(–13) cm. wide, apex obtuse, base cuneate, narrowed into the petiole or petiole distinct, margins coarsely bluntly serrate to crenate or subentire, glaucous or glaucescent, sometimes with maroon or purple spots near the margin beneath; petiole 0.5–2.5 cm. long, flattened and usually slightly grooved above.

Inflorescence a paniculate cyme up to 35 cm. long; pedicels 5–15(–20) mm. long.

Calyx-lobes lanceolate to lanceolate-subulate, 6–13(–22) mm. long, (1.5–)2–3(–4) mm. wide, connate at the base for 0.5–2 mm.

Corolla-tube whitish- or yellowish-green, limb cream with a yellow throat or yellow, rarely yellowish pink; tube (13–)15–28 mm. long; lobes oblong-ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 6–15(–18) mm. long, 3–6(–7) mm. wide, mucronate (mucro 0.5–1.5 mm. long).

Anthers with apical glands 0.15–0.2(–0.45) mm. in diameter; episepalous stamens included 1–3(–5) mm. within the tube, anthers oblong, 1.1–1.9(–2.3) mm. long, 0.7–1.2 mm. wide; epipetalous stamens barely exserted to entirely included, anthers oblong, 0.8–1.5 mm. long, 0.6–1 mm. wide.
