Shrub or shrublet up to 1.5(–2) m tall, all parts tomentose with ± yellowish stellate hairs

Leaves with 3–15 mm long petiole; blade ovate to elliptic, 1.2–5.2 x 0.7–3 cm, rounded to truncate at the base, subacute to rounded or truncate at the apex, with serrate-dentate margins
