Spreading perennial herb or subshrub, up to 60 cm tall; stems tomentose with tufts of spreading hairs

Leaves with 4–10 mm long petiole; blade elliptic to ovate, 1–3.5 x 0.6–2.2 cm, cuneate to truncate at the base, subacute to truncate at the apex, with dentate margins, tomentose on both sides with tufts of hairs beneath
